Travel CNA / CMA – Long-Term Care

Herington, Kansas | 13-Week Contract | Up to $1,260/Week BOE

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for a 13-week travel contract with one of our trusted long-term care partners near Herington, Kansas.

This is a great opportunity for a dependable CNA/CMA looking for a consistent 40-hour workweek, evening or night shifts, and a 4-day schedule.

Position Details

  • Position: Travel CNA / CMA

  • Location: Herington, KS

  • Setting: Long-Term Care / Nursing Home

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts

  • Hours: 40 hours scheduled per week

  • Shift: Evening / Night Shift

  • Pay: Up to $1,260 per week, based on experience

  • Opportunity to work with an established LTC team in a community-focused setting

CNA / CMA Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

  • Monitor and document resident conditions, vital signs, intake/output, and changes in status

  • Assist with transfers, repositioning, and ambulation

  • Provide compassionate care and support to residents and their families

  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility policies and care plans

  • Work closely with nurses and other members of the clinical team

  • For CMAs: administer medications within scope of practice and according to facility and state guidelines

  • Follow infection-control, safety, and resident-care standards

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Current CNA or CMA certification in Kansas, as applicable to the position

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home experience preferred

  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or as required by the facility

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Reliable attendance and ability to commit to the full 13-week assignment
