Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Belle Fourche, SDContract Length: 13 WeeksCompensation: Up to $1,800 per week (based on experience) Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for an exciting opportunity with one of our trusted healthcare partners in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. This is a great opportunity for a motivated therapy professional looking to gain experience in a supportive environment while enjoying all that the beautiful Black Hills region has to offer.Job Description
- Assist Occupational Therapists in planning and implementing therapeutic programs for patients of all ages.*
- Help patients improve their ability to perform daily living and work activities.*
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the therapy and nursing teams.*
- Maintain treatment areas and equipment in a clean and safe manner.*
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to promote patient independence and recovery.*
- Educate patients and families on exercises, equipment use, and rehabilitation strategies.*
- Adhere to facility and professional standards while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.*
- Active COTA license in the state of South Dakota (or eligibility to obtain).*
- NBCOT certification required.*
- Current BLS certification required.*
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing, acute, or outpatient rehab setting preferred.*
- Open to first-time travelers!
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.*
- Compassionate approach to patient care.*
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.*
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations.
