If you are a licensed COTA in Montana with a passion for patient-centered care and rehabilitation therapy, we want to connect with you today.Position Overview – Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative services in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This role focuses on helping patients regain independence and improve functional mobility, strength, and daily living skills.Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments to patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)*
• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist*
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)*
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records*
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams*
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques*
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations*
• Maintain a safe and supportive rehabilitation environment

Must-Have Requirements

• Active Montana Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License*
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification*
• Recent Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience

Education & Certification Requirements

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program*
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification*
• Active Montana COTA License in good standing*
• Current BLS Certification through AHA or equivalent
