Local Travel Mammography Technologist Near Palm Springs, CA13-Week Contract | Weekly Pay Up to $3,450 (Based on Experience) Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a premier healthcare facility in Palm Springs, California to hire an experienced Local Travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled imaging professional seeking competitive compensation, stability, and an outstanding Southern California location.Position Overview As a Local Travel Mammography Technologist, you will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role is ideal for technologists with strong mammography experience and a patient-centered approach to care.Job Responsibilities
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with ARRT and state regulations*
- Operate mammography imaging equipment safely and effectively*
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and optimal image quality*
- Maintain radiation safety standards and infection control protocols*
- Review physician orders and patient histories prior to imaging*
- Provide compassionate patient care and education*
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members*
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved School of Radiologic Technology*
- Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiology (R)*
- California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license in Radiography and Mammography*
- CRT Mammography*
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Required: Experience as a Mammography Technologist*
- Preferred: Mammography screening experience*
- Desired: Diagnostic technologists with ultrasound experience
