Job Description: Connected Health Care is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a local travel opportunity in the picturesque town of Albuquerque, NM. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the physical therapist in providing patient care and developing treatment plans.*
- Perform therapeutic interventions as prescribed by the physical therapist.*
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.*
- Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to improve mobility and daily function.*
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with healthcare regulations.*
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.*
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient success.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program*
- Active New Mexico Physical Therapist Assistant License required*
- Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience required*
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred*
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
