Job Description

OverviewEcho Tech – Cardiology Echo specialty, located in Cumming, Georgia, United States. Start date 05/27/2026 for a travel temporary assignment of approximately 12 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,983–$2,095 per week with guaranteed hours of 40 per week. Shift schedule: 4 days per week (10-hour days). This assignment is in a hospital-based Cardiology Echo Services department. Note: No local candidates within 50 miles of the assignment location.Key Highlights- Weekly pay range: $1,983–$2,095 per week- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week- Contract length: about 12 weeks- Shift: 4x10-hour days- Start date: 05/27/2026- Setting: Cardiology Echo Services in a hospital environmentResponsibilities- Perform adult and pediatric transthoracic echocardiography (2D, Doppler, color-flow) under physician orders.- Prepare patients, position for imaging, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.- Operate ultrasound equipment, optimize imaging parameters, acquire and document cardiac images.- Measure and interpret standard cardiac metrics; assist cardiologists with preliminary interpretations as appropriate.- Document findings in the Cerner EMR; communicate results to the cardiology team; ensure accurate data integrity.- Maintain equipment, comply with infection control standards, and adhere to facility safety policies.Requirements- Education: Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology.- Certification: RDCS certification or registry-eligible; CCI certification; AHA BLS required.- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent echocardiography experience in a specialty setting.- Licensure/Registration: Registered or registry-eligible in diagnostic medical sonography with focus in echocardiography.- Skills: Cerner experience preferred; ability to work in a hospital setting; strong communication and teamwork.Benefits and Support- Competitive weekly pay- Guaranteed hours- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated assignment support- Fast credentialing assistance- Housing assistance available- Extension opportunitiesFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to view other openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMERPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
