Location: Bennington, Vermont Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility Contract Length: 14 Weeks Start Date: May 13, 2026 End Date: August 12, 2026 Shift: 07:00 AM 03:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week Estimated Pay Rate: $36.00 $42.00 per hour Job Overview We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 14-week contract assignment in Bennington, Vermont. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nursing staff while supporting residents in a skilled nursing environment.

This role requires strong clinical competency, reliability, and the ability to deliver high-quality care in a structured long-term care setting, including weekend coverage as required. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care under RN supervision Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) Document patient care accurately and timely Support wound care and basic clinical procedures Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality care Provide patient education within scope of practice Requirements Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Vermont or compact/eligible license Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program Current CPR/BLS certification (if required by facility standards) Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred in skilled nursing or long-term care Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts as required Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to perform in a fast-paced patient care environment
