JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 4-week travel assignment in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and continuity of care during overnight shifts.
This role involves administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient conditions, documenting care activities, and collaborating with the healthcare team to support positive clinical outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed• Monitor and document patient conditions and vital signs• Assist with wound care and infection control procedures• Respond promptly to resident care needs during overnight shifts• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams• Support compliance with facility policies and safety standards• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to coordinate patient care
REQUIREMENTS
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (Pennsylvania or compact eligible)• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience preferred in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings• Ability to work overnight shifts independently• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
