Job Description

OverviewLicensed Practical Nurse - Long Term Care (Travel) is available in Philadelphia, PA. Start date: 08/17/2026. Duration: 14 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Weekly pay: $1,215-$1,295. Shift: 4x10-hour days. This is a hospital-based travel assignment requiring clinical skill in a fast-paced setting.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,215-$1,295 per week- Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week- Contract duration: 14 weeks- Shift: 4x10-hour days- Start date: 08/17/2026- Setting: hospital travel assignment- Training and onboarding: 5-hour session prior to start; HIPAA module; EPIC experience preferred- Extension potential: temp-to-perm consideration based on performance and needResponsibilities- Provide direct patient care and skilled nursing tasks for adults in a hospital-related long-term care context- Administer prescribed medications and treatments; monitor responses and document findings- Monitor patient status, vital signs, pain, oxygenation, and safety; escalate changes per protocol- Support mobility, activities of daily living, wound care, specimen collection, and routine procedures- Document care in the electronic health record (EPIC preferred) and communicate with the multidisciplinary team- Maintain infection control, patient safety, and quality standards; collaborate with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staffRequirements- Active LPN license to practice in Pennsylvania or eligible for PA licensure- Practical Nursing diploma from an accredited program- 1+ year in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred; ortho/sports background is desirable- BLS/CPR certification required- Ability to work the stated schedule (4x10-hour shifts) and participate in a travel assignment- EPIC experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork skillsBenefits and Support- Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment- Credentialing coordination and onboarding assistance- Compliance guidance and scheduling for required screenings and trainings- Access to nationwide travel assignments within the healthforce network- Transparent communication about scheduling, pay, and assignment detailsFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, apply or review additional listings at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
