Job Description

OverviewMamo Tech (Mammography Technologist) – San Luis Obispo, California, United States. This travel assignment is in a short-term acute care setting. Start date: March 30, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Work schedule: day shift, 40 hours per week, 4x10-hour pattern with an 8:30 am start time per assignment notes. Compensation: $2,320 to $2,406 per week. This posting reflects a real, active opening and remains valid through June 28, 2026.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,320 – $2,406 per week- Contract length: 13 weeks- Hours per week: 40- Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour days, start around 8:30 am (per notes)- Location: San Luis Obispo, CA- Setting: Short-term acute care environment- Start date: 03/30/2026Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic and screening mammography procedures on patients, including proper positioning and compression.- Acquire high-quality, radiographically accurate images in accordance with department protocols.- Operate and troubleshoot digital mammography equipment; ensure correct use of software and PACS labeling.- Adhere to radiation safety practices, patient shielding, and ALARA principles during imaging.- Communicate with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure comfort throughout the exam.- Collaborate with radiologists and other staff to review images and complete exam workflows efficiently.Requirements- Active radiologic technologist license appropriate for California and mammography credential requirements.- Mammography certification or ARRT-M credentials as applicable in California.- Demonstrated ability to position patients and obtain high-quality mammography images.- Strong communication and patient care skills; ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based setting.- Availability for a day shift schedule (8:30 am start) and a 4x10-hour shift pattern.- Willingness to travel for a temporary assignment (13 weeks) in the stated location.Benefits and Support- Weekly pay range: $2,320 – $2,406- Travel assignment with a 13-week contract- Day shift schedule and clearly defined hours- Supportive assignment logistics and credentialing coordinationFind more opportunitiesFind more opportunities with Healthforce Healthcare LLC at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply
