OverviewMammo Tech, Mammography Technologist, Kansas City, KS, Start 06/07/2026, Duration 13 weeks, Weekly pay $2,373-$2,510 per week, Guaranteed Hours 0.0, Shift 4x10-hour days, Travel assignment in a hospital-based imaging department.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,373-$2,510 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 4x10-hour days- Start date: 06/07/2026- Orientation: 2-day orientation- Work setting: hospital-based imaging department in travel assignmentResponsibilities- Perform diagnostic mammography examinations, including prone biopsies, upright biopsies, breast localizations, and contrast-enhanced mammography as required.- Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety while obtaining high-quality diagnostic images in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.- Operate and troubleshoot mammography equipment (including appropriate platforms) and coordinate with radiologists for image interpretation.- Document procedures in the EMR (EPIC EMR experience preferred) and maintain accurate patient records.- Maintain radiation safety standards, infection control, and equipment quality control; participate in department quality initiatives.- Collaborate with interventional and diagnostic imaging teams to support complex breast imaging procedures.Requirements- Active ARRT in Radiography (R) and Mammography (M); Basic Life Support (BLS); must hold an active Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) license at submittal.- Minimum 2 years of recent Mammography Technologist experience in a hospital setting.- Strong experience in advanced breast imaging procedures, including prone and upright biopsies, breast localizations, and contrast-enhanced mammography.- EPIC EMR experience and experience with Hologic Dimensions equipment preferred.- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume department.- Shift requirements: 10-hour day shifts; Mondays through Fridays with one weekday off per week; travel assignment.Benefits and Support- Orientation: 2-day onboarding during the start week- Dedicated account management support- Clear credentialing path with standard assignment timelines- Flexible shift changes within policy, including a notice period for schedule adjustments- Competitive weekly pay consistent with the posted range- Access to employer-approved resources and travel support during the assignmentFind more opportunitiesIf you’re exploring other openings, you can view additional roles and apply at Healthforce Healthcare LLC’s opportunities page: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
