Travel Nuclear Medicine TechnologistLocation: Gadsden, ALStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 WeeksShift: Days – Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PMCall: Every other weekend, 7:00 AM–12:00 PMRate: $88/hour
Position Summary:Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols. The technologist will provide high-quality patient care, ensure accurate imaging results, and maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Administer and prepare radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures
Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment
Perform and process scans per established protocols
Evaluate image quality and report findings to the radiologist
Ensure patient safety and radiation protection standards are met
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Requirements:
CNMT certification (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
Minimum 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine Tech experience
Graduate of an AMA-accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
Registered with ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT)
State License as required
