Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its Medical-Surgical team for a 13-week night shift assignment. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated LPN with strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care to medical-surgical patients under the supervision of an RN

• Perform assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document patient progress

• Start and manage IV therapy per certification and protocol

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes and excellent patient experiences

• Support patient hygiene, mobility, and discharge readiness

• Document all care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record

• Comply with policies, procedures, and infection control standards

Requirements:

• Licensure/Certifications (All Required for Submission):

  • Active and unrestricted LPN license (state-specific or compact)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required

  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – Required

  • IV Certification – Required

• Permanent Home Address: Must be located 50+ miles from facility

• Experience: Previous experience in Medical-Surgical or acute care setting preferred
