Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Registered Nurse – NICU | Travel Contract
Licensure & Certifications: • Active OK or Compact License • BLS (AHA) required • NRP (AHA) required
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required BSN preferred
Qualifications: • Minimum 1 year of RN experience • Level I Trauma Hospital experience required • Level IV NICU experience required • Ability to float across all pediatric units • Strong knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs • Basic computer skills • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
Assignment Type & Schedule: Travel Contract Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
Under general supervision, provides nursing care to pediatric patients ranging from moderate to critically ill. Delivers safe, evidence-based care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Responsibilities Include:Provide care for an assigned group of patientsMonitor, assess, and document patient responses to treatments and interventionsAdminister medications, IV therapy, and blood productsAssist physicians with examinations and minor proceduresEducate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructionsMonitor patient status and intervene as necessaryCoordinate care and make referrals to appropriate personnelDelegate tasks to support staff as neededPerform other duties as assigned
