Job Description

OverviewOccupational Therapist - General travel opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This travel assignment begins on 11/09/2026 for 13 weeks with a weekly pay range of $2,306 to $2,347 and guaranteed hours of 36 per week. The shift is 5x8 days (08:00–16:30). Work setting: skilled nursing facility.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: 2,306 – 2,347 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 5x8 days (08:00–16:30)- Start date: 11/09/2026- Setting: Skilled Nursing FacilityResponsibilities- Conduct initial OT evaluations and ongoing reassessments for residents in the skilled nursing setting- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize independence in activities of daily living and functional mobility- Administer therapy sessions, monitor progress, and adjust goals as needed- Document assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries per regulatory requirements in the electronic health record- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, SLP, nursing, social work) to coordinate care and discharge planning- Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, payer requirements, and facility policiesRequirements- Active OT license in good standing with eligibility for NM licensure or current NM licensure- Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program- NBCOT certification preferred or eligible- Minimum 1 year of OT experience preferred, ideally in SNF or geriatric settings- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility environment and within a travel assignment- Strong interpersonal and documentation skills; ability to collaborate with an interprofessional teamBenefits and Support- Dedicated assignment support throughout the engagement- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Ongoing professional collaboration with experienced healthcare staffing specialists- Access to travel opportunities with the same employerFind more opportunitiesExplore other openings available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMER RULE:Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
