OverviewOperating Room Technician (OR Tech) – OR Tech specialty located in Geneva, NY, United States. Start date: 05/25/2026. Duration: 14 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,261–$1,323 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 4x9-hour rotating days with call rotations and weekends as needed. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Date posted: 05/15/2026; valid through: 08/29/2026.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,261–$1,323 per week- Contract duration: 14 weeks- Shift: 4x9-hour rotating- Start date: 05/25/2026- Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital- Travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLCResponsibilities- Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique per AORN standards during procedures.- Prepare instrument sets and select equipment based on the procedure, patient history, and age.- Open and handle sterile supplies; perform proper hand scrubbing, gowning, gloving; set up sterile field and assist in proper draping of the patient.- Maintain instrument counts; follow count procedures and initiate corrective actions if counts are incorrect; assist in medication preparation with proper labeling when applicable.- Collaborate with the medical, nursing, and ancillary staff to support safe patient care; monitor the surgical environment for safety and cleanliness; mentor new staff as needed.Requirements- Active OR Tech licensure/certification required- BLS certification through AHA or RQI required- Minimum 1 year OR Tech experience- Ability to work in a surgical setting and maintain sterile technique per regulatory standards- Willingness to participate in rotation of shifts, call rotations, and weekend coverage- Knowledge of sterile technique, instrument handling, and basic intraoperative workflowsBenefits and Support- Onboarding and credentialing assistance as part of the assignment process- Ongoing recruiter and assignment support throughout the engagement- Access to assignment resources and policy guidance- Support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC throughout the placementFind more opportunitiesFind more opportunities at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMERPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
