Travel Pharmacy Technician
Torrance, CA
We’re seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician for a travel assignment in Torrance, California. This is a great opportunity to work in a hospital setting with a consistent overnight schedule.
Position Details
Duration: 9-week contract (option to extend)
Schedule: 5 x 8-hour shifts
Monday – Friday
Shifts: 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM or 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM
Setting: Hospital Pharmacy
Compensation
$1,215 – $1,350/week (travel package)
Job Description
The Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications within a hospital setting. This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
Maintain medication inventory and restock supplies
Accurately label, package, and deliver medications
Assist with medication reconciliation and record keeping
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Utilize pharmacy systems and EMR for documentation
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
Active Pharmacy Technician Certification
BLS certification required
Prior hospital pharmacy experience required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently on overnight shifts
