Pharmacy In Ridgefield Park, NJ Seeks a Travel Pharmacy Technician/ADS: Willing to drive long distances in the tristate Region (MD, NJ, NY, CT, MA) Specialty Rx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. Travel Pharmacy Technician/ADS Requirements: Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor. Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff, primarily through email. Utilize various applications (myQlink, OmniCenter) to obtain reports. Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date). Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing. Replace potentially expiring inventory. Restock depleted inventory. Pull and pack medications for daily routes. Code-controlled substances, when applicable. Monthly audits (cycle count). Prepares standard documentation and reports to include discrepancies, expense reports, and others as directed. Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor. Travel Pharmacy Technician/ADS Qualifications: NJ Pharmacy Technician experience required. High School diploma or equivalent. Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred). Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred. Good organizational skills and detail-oriented. Must have a valid driver's license and your own vehicle. Availability and flexibility to work after hours when needed during peak times. Ability to physically perform light lifting. Willing to drive long distances in the state of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
