Experienced Pharmacy Technicians with hospital and IV compounding experience — we have a contract opportunity in San Carlos, Arizona for a tech who can step into an acute-care pharmacy environment and contribute quickly.

Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and distribution.
Prepare medications accurately according to pharmacy policies and physician orders.
Perform IV compounding using appropriate sterile-compounding procedures.
Stock, refill, and manage medications using Omnicell automated dispensing systems.
Maintain accurate medication inventory and identify expired or low-stock medications.
Support medication deliveries and distribution throughout hospital departments.
Maintain appropriate documentation and pharmacy records.
Follow sterile technique, infection-prevention standards, and medication-safety procedures.
Work closely with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain an organized and compliant hospital pharmacy environment.
Requirements
Active Arizona Pharmacy Technician license required
Minimum 6 months of Pharmacy Technician experience
Hospital pharmacy experience required
IV compounding experience required
Hands-on Omnicell experience required
Comfortable working in an acute-care/hospital pharmacy environment
Strong attention to detail and medication-safety practices
Ability to work effectively as part of a fast-paced pharmacy team
This role is best suited for a Pharmacy Technician who can walk into a hospital pharmacy, understand the workflow, and contribute without needing extensive training.
