Job Description
MISTRAS Group is currently seeking an experienced Full-Time Travel NDT PAUT Technician for projects based in the Northeast to the Southeast, as well as other travel assignments throughout the United States. Candidates will perform advanced ultrasonic inspections using Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) methods in accordance with industry codes, procedures, and customer requirements.The NDT PAUT Technician will be responsible for performing inspections, interpreting data, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in industrial and field environments.Working for MISTRAS Group:

Job Responsibilities
Perform Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) inspections on welds, piping, pressure vessels, and structural componentsSet up and calibrate PAUT equipmentInterpret and evaluate inspection data in accordance with applicable codes and specificationsPrepare accurate inspection reports and documentationMaintain inspection records and ensure quality complianceFollow all company, client, and site-specific safety proceduresWork closely with customers, project managers, and inspection teamsSupport additional NDT methods as neededTravel to customer sites throughout the U.S. as project demands requireWork overtime, weekends, shutdowns, and outage schedules when necessary
Requirements:
Current Level II or Level III PAUT certification requiredPrevious PAUT field experience requiredGraduate of a specialized NDT technical program meeting SNT-TC1A for one or all of the following is required: PAUTPrior certification as an UTSW NDE Level II with one (1) year experience or prior certification as Level II per SNT-TC1A standards on all or one (1) of the following is required; Phased Array, UTSWStrong understanding of ultrasonic testing principles and advanced NDT techniquesAbility to read and interpret codes, standards, isometrics, and technical drawingsExperience with corrosion mapping, weld inspections, and encoded scans preferredValid driver's license and ability to travel extensively within the U.S.
Preferred Requirements:
Additional NDT certifications (UT, MT, PT, RT, VT, TOFD) preferredExperience in refinery, petrochemical, aerospace, manufacturing, pipeline, or power generation industries
