JOB OVERVIEW Seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, providing therapeutic interventions that help patients improve mobility, strength, functional independence, and overall quality of life. SHIFT DETAILSShift Time: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Meal Break: 30 Minutes Day Shift
GUARANTEED HOURS & PAYGuaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week Pay Rate: $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
REQUIREMENTS• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License• Current state licensure in good standing• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program• Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience preferred• Current BLS certification preferred
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION• State or federal ID required• Photo badge must be worn at all times• 35 guaranteed hours per week• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist• Assist patients in improving mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional independence• Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic exercise programs• Monitor patient progress and report responses to treatment to the supervising Physical Therapist• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic activities, safety practices, and home exercise programs• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams• Ensure compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements• Contract assignment offering schedule stability and professional growth opportunities• Excellent opportunity for PTAs seeking a rewarding rehabilitation-focused role• Work in a patient-centered environment dedicated to maximizing functional outcomes and quality of life• Ideal for rehabilitation professionals looking to expand their clinical experience within a supportive care setting
