Job Description

OverviewPhysical Therapist Assistant (PTA) travel assignment in a long-term care nursing home setting in Glendive, Montana. Start date 05/18/2026 for a 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Days shift. This travel temporary assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.Key Highlights- Weekly pay range: $1,397 – $1,442 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: Days- Setting: Long-term care / nursing home- Start date: 05/18/2026Responsibilities- Implement prescribed physical therapy plans of care under supervision of a licensed physical therapist, focusing on mobility, strength, balance, and functional activities for residents.- Assist with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, range of motion, and activities of daily living to promote independence.- Monitor patient response to treatment; document progress and communicate changes to the supervising PT; adjust treatment plans as directed.- Ensure patient safety during therapy sessions; maintain equipment and infection control practices; assist with positioning and device use as needed.- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and nursing staff to coordinate care, track progress, and support discharge planning.Requirements- Active Montana Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program- Ability to work in a long-term care / skilled nursing facility setting- Availability to start on 05/18/2026 and commit to a 13-week assignment- Strong communication skills and ability to follow treatment plans under supervisionBenefits and Support- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- 13-week assignment with potential extension- Assignment support and coordination provided by Healthforce Healthcare LLC- Dedicated recruiter and ongoing assignment supportFind more opportunitiesIf you’re exploring other openings, please visit Healthforce Healthcare LLC’s apply-to-job site at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply to view additional travel PTA/PT openings and related assignments.Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
