OverviewPhysical Therapist – Skilled Nursing Facility in Waterville, Maine, United States. Start date: 09/28/2026 for a 15-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,485–$2,537 per week with guaranteed hours of 35 per week. Shift: 5x8 days, 08:00–16:30. This assignment is within a Skilled Nursing Facility setting and is facilitated by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,485–$2,537 per week- Guaranteed hours: 35 hours per week- Contract duration: 15 weeks- Shift: 5x8 days, 08:00–16:30- Start date: 09/28/2026- Work setting: Skilled Nursing FacilityResponsibilities- Assess residents’ physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans- Deliver therapy services including therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance training, and ADL retraining- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust treatment plans per facility policies- Collaborate with nursing staff and the broader interdisciplinary team to support mobility, safety, and discharge planning- Educate residents and families on home exercise programs, mobility techniques, and fall prevention- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and ensure compliance with safety and infection control practicesRequirements- Active physical therapy license to practice in the United States with ability to obtain licensure in Maine- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program; a Master’s degree in PT may be considered with appropriate credentials- Minimum exposure to, or experience in, skilled nursing facility or geriatric populations; strong communication and teamwork skills- Availability for a 15-week travel assignment starting 09/28/2026; guaranteed 35 hours per week- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility environment and manage a patient caseload- Strong documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skillsBenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC- Onboarding and credentialing assistance- Ongoing scheduling and travel coordinationFind more opportunitiesTo explore other openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, please apply or visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
