Pride Health is hiring a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant to support our clients in the medical facility. This is a temporary assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Title - Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant
Job Type: Contract
Location- Petersburg, WV Coverage Area - Grant County, WV, Hardy County, WV, Pendleton County, WV
Shift: Monday–Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm/ 40 hrs/ week Pay - $36 -$41/ hr on W2
Mileage reimbursement provided (from first patient to last patient visit)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This role is focused on performing high-volume blood draws in a clinical setting while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and accurate specimen collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Follow individualized patient care plans and treatment protocols
- Accurately document patient progress and treatments (HCHB documentation preferred)
- Communicate effectively with supervising PT, patients, and caregivers
- Travel between patient homes within assigned coverage areas
- Ensure compliance with all clinical and organizational standards
Required Qualifications:
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of West Virginia
- Prior experience in a clinical or home health setting preferred
- Familiarity with Homecare Homebase (HCHB) documentation is a plus
Certification:
- Valid PTA License (West Virginia)
