OverviewTemp - PTA - Long Term Care (LTC) (Days) – Saint Louis, Missouri. This travel assignment as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) places you in a long-term care setting with a focus on collaborative care under the supervision of a physical therapist. Start date: 05/04/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,361-$1,429 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts (5 days per week).Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,361-$1,429 per week- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts- Start date: 05/04/2026- Setting: Long-term care (LTC) facilityResponsibilities- Implement components of patient care, obtain data related to treatments provided, and collaborate with the physical therapist to modify care as necessary.- Assist the physical therapist in the treatment of individuals across the lifespan, from newborns to end of life.- Help patients stretch and exercise specific muscle groups; guide and monitor exercises as directed.- Read and implement instructions from the Physical Therapist; maintain treatment accuracy and safety.- Move patients from wheelchairs or walkers to the therapy area; assist with transfers and positioning as needed.- Maintain a clean, organized therapy area and perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and filing paperwork.- Teach patients techniques such as balance training and provide guidance to families on at-home techniques.Requirements- Active Missouri PTA license- BLS certification- Minimum 1 year PTA experience (required)- LTC or Rehab experience (required)- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting and with patients across the lifespanBenefits and Support- Dedicated travel and credentialing support throughout the assignment- License verification and certifications documentation assistance- Onboarding orientation and ongoing clinical support- Guaranteed hours per week and consistent pay- Full assignment support from a dedicated recruiterFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other openings available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC, apply now or visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply to view additional opportunities.
