Job Description

OverviewPhysical Therapy Assistant travel assignment in Butte, Montana. Start date 04/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,339–$1,400 per week. Guaranteed hours 36 per week (expected to be about 40 hours). Shift: Days. Setting: skilled nursing facility.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,339–$1,400 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week (expected 40 hours)- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: Days- Location: Butte, MT (skilled nursing setting)- Travel assignment: Travel - temporaryResponsibilities- Provide and progress physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT, including gait training, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities in a skilled nursing setting.- Assist in patient evaluations, treatment plan implementation, and re-assessments as directed by the supervising PT.- Monitor patient responses, document progress, ensure safety, and report concerns to the supervising PT.- Maintain a clean, organized treatment space; ensure equipment is functional and properly sanitized.- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support discharge planning and patient outcomes.Requirements- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Montana or eligibility to obtain licensure.- Completion of an accredited PTA program.- Ability to work Days shift in a skilled nursing facility setting.- Willingness to commit to a 13-week travel assignment and to complete required credentialing and documentation.- Prior SNF or geriatric therapy experience is preferred.Benefits and Support- Guaranteed hours on assignment- Assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC staffing team- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Weekly pay with direct deposit- On-site credentialing and onboarding assistance- 13-week contract with potential extension opportunitiesFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other openings available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC, please apply here: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
