Job Description

OverviewPhysical Therapy Assistant travel assignment in Llano, Texas. Start date: 06/15/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,473–$1,519 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: 5x8 days. Setting: LTC - Nursing Home. This assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,473–$1,519 per week- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 5x8 days- Start date: 06/15/2026- Setting: LTC - Nursing Home- Travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLCResponsibilities- Under the direction and supervision of licensed physical therapists, treat patients through exercise, gait and balance training, massage, and other therapeutic interventions.- Record patients’ progress and report treatment results to the supervising physical therapist.- Monitor patient responses to therapy, adjust actions as directed, and communicate progress to the PT.- Maintain safety and infection control in therapy spaces and ensure equipment is prepared and functional for sessions.- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support the patient’s rehabilitation goals and discharge planning.- Communicate clearly with patients and families about therapy plans, expectations, and home exercise programs.Requirements- Active Texas or compact PTA license (as required)- Minimum 2 years PTA experience- Ability to work in a long-term care/nursing home setting- Willingness to participate in a travel assignment in Llano, TX- Current or eligible to obtain licensure documentation as part of the submission processBenefits and Support- Assignment-specific support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC- Credentialing and licensure assistance- Guaranteed hours for the contract duration- Travel coordination and onboarding assistanceFind more opportunitiesIf you’re exploring other physical therapy roles, apply for additional openings at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
