Job Description

OverviewPTA position in the Physical Therapy field for a skilled nursing facility setting in Keene, New Hampshire. Start date: May 25, 2026. Travel assignment lasting 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,601–$1,665 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 08:00–16:30, five days per week. This assignment is travel-based and intended for experienced PTAs working within a SNF environment.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,601–$1,665 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 08:00–16:30, 5x8 days- Start date: 05/25/2026- Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (travel assignment)Responsibilities- Implement and adjust treatment plans under the direction of the supervising physical therapist.- Deliver PTA services including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, ROM, and functional mobility training.- Administer modalities and assistive devices as prescribed, while monitoring patient responses.- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records consistent with facility policies and regulatory requirements.- Collaborate with the PT and interdisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive patient care and discharge planning.- Ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and equipment setup; assist with therapy area preparation and equipment maintenance.Requirements- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in New Hampshire or eligibility for licensure.- Education: Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting.- Prior experience in skilled nursing facilities or inpatient rehabilitation settings preferred.- Ability to work a 13-week travel assignment and meet the scheduled shift hours.- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; commitment to patient-centered care.Benefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated assignment support throughout the travel engagement- Credentialing assistance to help expedite approvals- Opportunity for assignment extensions based on performance and needsFind more opportunitiesFind more PTA travel openings and other healthcare positions available through Healthforce Healthcare LLC at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply.
