OverviewPhysical Therapy Assistant LTAC travel assignment in Waldorf, Maryland. Start date: 10/26/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,599–$1,698 per week. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days, 08:00–16:30. Setting: long-term care facility (LTC – Nursing Home). This is a travel, temporary assignment managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,599–$1,698 per week- Guaranteed hours: 35 hours per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 5x8 days (08:00–16:30)- Start date: 10/26/2026- Setting: LTAC/LTC environment in a long-term care facilityResponsibilities- Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed PT in a LTAC/LTC setting, supporting mobility and functional goals.- Implement and monitor components of the plan of care, adjusting as directed by the supervising PT.- Facilitate therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercise, range of motion, strengthening, gait and balance training, and transfer techniques.- Assist with patient positioning, mobility, and safety during therapy sessions; ensure proper use of assistive devices.- Document patient progress, modify treatment notes as needed, and communicate concerns or changes to the supervising PT and interdisciplinary team.- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, safety plans, and carryover strategies to support recovery and functional independence.Requirements- Ability to work effectively in a LTAC/LTC setting in Waldorf, MD- Strong written and verbal communication skills; accurate documentation- Willingness to participate in facility onboarding and credentialing processes- Availability for a 5x8 day shift with guaranteed 35 hours per week- Eligibility to work in the United StatesBenefits and Support- Guaranteed hours for the assignment- 13-week contract duration- Dedicated recruiter support throughout the assignment- Credentialing and onboarding coordination- Weekly pay issued per week- 24/7 travel support during the assignmentFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other openings available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC, please apply at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMER RULE:Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
