Job Description:

Job Summary:The Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo is responsible for providing friendly and efficient customer service, accurately processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized sales area within our travel plaza environment.Job Responsibilities* Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service, answering questions and assisting with product location.* Accurately operate a cash register, handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, and providing correct change.* Scan and bag merchandise efficiently and carefully.* Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, ensuring accuracy.* Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including shelves and displays.* Stock shelves and coolers as needed, ensuring products are faced and rotated.* Adhere to all company policies and procedures* Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.Job Qualifications:* Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.* Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions.* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally..
