Job Description:
As a Travel Plaza Cashier at Onvo, you will be the face of our service, providing friendly and efficient checkout experiences for customers at our travel plaza location. You will handle transactions, answer customer inquiries, and ensure a clean and organized sales area.Job Responsibilities:* Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale (POS) system.* Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and provide correct change to customers.* Scan and bag merchandise, ensuring proper handling of all items.* Maintain a clean and orderly checkout area, including shelves, counters, and equipment.* Greet customers warmly, answer questions about products and services, and assist with locating items.* Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to management as needed.* Monitor fuel pumps and assist customers with fueling inquiries or issues.* Stock shelves and coolers with merchandise as required.* Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling and safety.* Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.Job Qualifications:* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.* Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.* A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Pay:
$16 per hour
