Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Location: Atlantic County, NJ

Job Type: Full-Time / Contract

Shift/Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (No on-call or weekend requirements)

Weekly Hours: 40 Hours Guaranteed

Mileage Reimbursement: Mileage is reimbursed between visits, from the first patient of the day to the last patient.

Pay Rate: $36/hr

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Atlantic County. In this role, you will provide skilled and compassionate physical therapy treatments to patients in their homes under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist. You will be responsible for implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and following established care plans to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Plan of Care Implementation: Follow the established Plan of Care accurately to ensure continuous and effective treatment.
Patient Instruction: Instruct and aid patients in evidence-based treatments and therapeutic exercises within the scope of the Physical Therapist's direction.
Care Coordination: Support the therapy team in delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in the home setting.

Required Qualifications

Licensure: Current and active Physical Therapy Assistant license.
Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification.
Driver's License: Current, valid driver’s license.
