Job Description

OverviewRadiation Therapist (Radiation Therapy Tech) needed for a travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. Start date: 08/31/2026. Duration: 15 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,245-$2,386 per week. Shift: Rotating. Setting: hospital-based cancer center.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,245-$2,386 per week- Contract duration: 15 weeks- Shift: Rotating- Start date: 08/31/2026- Setting: Hospital-based cancer center- Travel assignment status: Travel - Temporary AssignmentResponsibilities- Independently perform radiation therapy treatments, simulations, and treatment planning under physician prescriptions.- Fabricate and adjust specialized treatment aides as required; manage setup for all treatment sites within a comprehensive cancer program.- Proficient with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and ARIA EMR; able to treat 25-30 patients per day.- Implement treatment modalities including 3D, IMRT, SBRT, and electrons; collaborate across the treatment team to cover all clinical sites.- Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the life span; assess patient data and interpret information to meet age-specific needs.Requirements- Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as Radiation Therapist; active by start of assignment.- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiation Therapy (T) certification.- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.- Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible imaging technologist/specialist experience.- Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and ARIA EMR.- Ability to treat 25-30 patients per day and work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.Benefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Credentialing and licensing assistance to meet Hawaii requirements- Assignment-focused support throughout the contract- Housing assistance available- Extension opportunities for continued assignments- Competitive weekly pay and direct depositFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other openings, please apply at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
