Job Description

OverviewCath Lab Technologist (Cardiovascular Technologist, CVT) needed for a travel assignment in a hospital setting in Rochester, NY. Start date: 06/08/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay: $2,859–$2,934. Guaranteed hours: 0. Shift: 10-hour days with some late nights and on-call requirements per unit needs. The role requires RCIS or NYS grandfathering eligibility under Public Health Law 2824 and supports invasive cardiac procedures.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,859–$2,934 per week- Guaranteed hours: 0- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 10-hour shifts- Start date: 06/08/2026- Setting: Hospital-based Cath LabResponsibilities- Prepare the procedure room and sterile field for invasive cardiac procedures, including setup of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment.- Function in multiple roles on the procedure team as scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor; maintain sterile technique and assist with equipment operation.- Assist with right and left heart catheterizations, hemodynamics, cardiac interventions (PCI/ CTO), Pericardiocentesis, and vascular interventions as needed.- Support structural heart cases and related interventions, and be prepared to assist with devices and mechanical circulatory support as required.- Ensure equipment readiness, participate in room turnover, and uphold infection control standards and patient safety throughout procedures.Requirements- Active RCIS certification through CCI or ARRT, or eligible for NYS Public Health Law 2824 grandfathering- Minimum 2 years Cath Lab Tech experience- BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications- COVID-19 vaccination completed- Education: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program; NYS licensure to practice radiologic technologyBenefits and Support- Dedicated travel recruiter support throughout the assignment- 24/7 support for on-call and onboarding needs- Credentialing and onboarding assistance to facilitate start- Weekly pay with direct deposit and payroll support- 13-week contract with potential extension opportunitiesFind more opportunitiesIf this role isn’t a fit, explore other openings available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMERPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
