Job Description

OverviewCT Tech – Radiology travel assignment in Fort Bragg, California. Starting May 25, 2026 for a 13-week assignment with a 3x12-hour day shift. Weekly pay ranges from $1,959 to $2,058. Work in a Critical Access Hospital setting as a traveling Radiology CT professional, providing imaging services under physician direction.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,959 – $2,058 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts- Start date: May 25, 2026- Setting: Critical Access Hospital (radiology)- Guaranteed hours: Not guaranteedResponsibilities- Perform CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and established protocols, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.- Prepare and position patients, assess contraindications, monitor for adverse reactions during contrast administration as needed.- Operate multi-slice CT scanners, adjust technique and parameters to optimize image quality while adhering to ALARA radiation safety principles.- Verify patient identity, verify orders, document procedures, and ensure images are properly labeled and transferred for interpretation.- Collaborate with radiologists and referring clinicians; assist in emergent imaging scenarios and provide patient care in a fast-paced environment.- Maintain equipment cleanliness, perform routine quality checks, and report any technical issues or equipment malfunctions promptly.Requirements- Active radiologic technology license and ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT (CT); or ARRT credentials as R and CT as applicable in California.- Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography required.- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.- Fluoroscopy license preferred in California; Venipuncture certification preferred.- Experience with CT imaging and radiology workflows preferred.- Ability to work a 13-week travel assignment in a Critical Access Hospital setting; ability to adhere to safety and infection control protocols.Benefits and Support- Dedicated travel support and credentialing assistance throughout the assignment- On-call recruiter support to assist with any assignment needs- Access to a nationwide travel network for future opportunities- Professional colleagues and clinical peer collaboration to support patient care in radiologyFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other travel roles with Healthforce Healthcare LLC, you can apply for additional openings on our careers site at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
