Job Description

OverviewCT Technologist travel assignment in radiology, CT specialty, Rochester, NY, United States. Start date: June 8, 2026. Length: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,798 to $2,866 per week. Shift: 12-hour shifts. Work setting: hospital radiology department as a travel contingent staff member.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,798–$2,866 per week- 13-week travel assignment- Shift: 12-hour nights (Fridays through Sundays as scheduled; 7:00 PM–7:30 AM with on-call)- Start date: June 8, 2026- On-call and holiday coverage as needed by unit: 2–3 call shifts per month; holidays per unit needs- Travel assignment with ongoing support from a dedicated recruiting teamResponsibilities- Confirm patient identity and exam verification prior to initiating the scan, following department safety policies- Perform CT imaging procedures, coordinating with physicians to provide diagnostic information- Prepare patients, explain the procedure, and address patient comfort; insert IVs when necessary- Position patients and assist with safe patient handling, including lifting or moving limited-mobility patients- Accurately document procedures in EPIC and ensure imaging is sent to PACS after exam completion- Maintain a clean, safe scanning area and adhere to infection control and equipment safety protocolsRequirements- NYS licensure as a Radiologic Technologist; CT licensure required prior to starting- NYS injection therapy certification stated on license at time of submission; willing to obtain if not current- ARRT certification in Radiography (and CT) and ongoing certification maintenance- Completion of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology program- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience; Level I Trauma Center experience preferred- BLS (American Heart Association) certification; telemetry experience required- Siemens CT scanner experience (minimum 6 months); Philips equipment knowledge preferred- Epic experience highly desired- Ability to work in a hospital setting and adapt to a 12-hour night shift scheduleBenefits and Support- Dedicated assignment support throughout the engagement- 24/7 recruiter and travel support to assist with onboarding and on-assignment needs- Nationwide travel opportunities across multiple assignments- Extension opportunities after the initial 13 weeks- Fast credentialing assistance and streamlined onboarding processesFind more opportunitiesIf you would like to explore other CT or radiology travel openings, you can view additional opportunities at Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
