OverviewCT Technologist (Radiology) – dual X-ray and CT responsibilities in Massena, New York. Start date 06/01/2026. Travel assignment with weekly pay between $2,571 and $2,628. Shift: 5x8 Nights. Setting: Critical Access Hospital. Role emphasizes weekend ED and inpatient coverage with some potential outpatient exams.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,571–$2,628 per week- Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed- Contract type: Travel – Temporary Assignment- Shift: 5x8 Nights- Start date: 06/01/2026- Setting: Critical Access Hospital- Radius note: float to cover additional units as neededResponsibilities- Perform and optimize X-ray and CT imaging using Siemens equipment, ensuring diagnostic-quality images per protocol- Manage a broad range of exams: X-ray (chest, abdomen, extremities, spine/pelvis, head) and CT (head, chest, abdomen-pelvis; CT angiography of head/carotid; pulmonary embolism studies)- Prepare, administer, and monitor contrast materials; initiate and maintain peripheral IV access as required- Maintain patient safety and radiation protection standards; position patients accurately and monitor for adverse reactions- Operate PACS, document findings and exam details in EPIC where required, and communicate with radiologists and ED staff to support timely care- Provide coverage for weekend ED and inpatient imaging needs with flexibility to float to other units as neededRequirements- NY State license in-hand required to submit- ARRT (R) certification- BLS certification- IV Certification required on NY license (per notes)- Minimum 2 years of radiology experience with dual X-ray and CT competencies in adult acute care, adult outpatient, and Emergency Department settings- Portable X-ray experience; PACS experience; Epic charting experience preferred/requiredBenefits and Support- Credentialing and onboarding coordination- Dedicated recruiter and ongoing assignment support- Credentialing and scheduling assistance throughout the assignment- Clinical and administrative point of contact available for questions and guidanceFind more opportunitiesIf this position isn’t a fit, explore other travel radiology openings at Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
