Job Description

OverviewCT Technologist, Radiology – Sitka, Alaska. Travel assignment starting 05/11/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $3,194-$3,412 per week. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Shift: Monday–Friday, mid-shift. Setting: hospital-based radiology department.Key Highlights- Start date: 05/11/2026- Duration: 13 weeks- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week- Shift: Monday–Friday, mid-shift- Location: Sitka, AK (travel assignment in a hospital setting)- Weekly pay: $3,194-$3,412Responsibilities- Perform radiographic examinations of all body parts for diagnostic interpretation, applying CT and XR techniques as assigned.- Exercise professional judgment and maintain radiation protection principles to ensure patient and staff safety.- Operate radiology and CT equipment, obtain high-quality diagnostic images, and adjust techniques as needed.- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging files; document procedures and outcomes.- Participate in the department quality assurance program and pursue ongoing continuing education.- Transfer patients to and from radiology; assist with patient positioning and mobility as required.- Rotate shifts as needed; respond to call requirements and report to work within 20 minutes.- Adhere to department policies and procedures; contribute to department hygiene and organization.Requirements- Education: High School Diploma or GED; completion of a CT/XR training program.- Certifications: Current ARRT certification in Radiography; ARRT CT certification; Minimum 1 year CT/XR experience.- Licensure: ARRT certifications satisfy procedural credentialing; state licensure requirements are not specified here.- Experience: Minimum 1 year CT/XR experience.- Ability to work in a hospital setting; able to participate in a travel assignment; capable of on-call responsibilities and rapid response.Benefits and Support- Guaranteed hours- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated assignment support- Nationwide travel assignmentsFind more opportunitiesInterested in other radiology travel roles with Healthforce Healthcare LLC?
