OverviewCardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) - Travel | Echocardiography focused imaging in a rotating 3x12 schedule | Austell, Georgia, United States | Start date 05/25/2026 | 13-week assignment | $1,581-$1,689 per week | Rotating on-call weekends and holidays | Work performed in a healthcare setting supporting cardiac imagingKey Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,581-$1,689 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 3x12 rotating- Start date: 05/25/2026- Travel assignment with on-call requirements- Work setting: echocardiography services within a healthcare facilityResponsibilities- Perform comprehensive cardiac imaging, including adult and pediatric echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE, including structural heart) and stress echocardiograms as available at the assignment- Take measurements and calculations according to laboratory protocol- Provide an oral summary of preliminary findings to the interpreting physician when requested- Ensure patient safety and well-being within the Echo department and maintain clear, respectful communication with patients and care teams- May inject/administer Ultrasound Enhancing Agents (UEA) and perform saline bubble studies as trained- Be available to take call and work weekends/holidays on a rotating basisRequirements- Active cardiac sonography certification/registration as required by state and facility- Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent for echocardiography- Experience performing adult and pediatric echocardiography, including transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and stress echocardiography- Ability to inject/administer Ultrasound Enhancing Agents (UEA) and conduct saline bubble studies as trained- Effective communication skills with patients and the healthcare team; commitment to patient safety- Eligibility for a traveling assignment and ability to work a rotating 3x12 schedule with on-call requirementsBenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support to assist throughout the assignment- Dedicated support throughout the assignment- Fast credentialing process to minimize start time- Nationwide assignments for future opportunities- Potential housing assistance and extension opportunitiesFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other openings available through Healthforce Healthcare LLC, you can view additional listings at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
