Job Description

OverviewInterventional Radiology Tech (IR Tech) – Radiology travel assignment in Olympia, Washington. Start date: 06/01/2026. Duration: Weeks. Shift: 4x10 days, 07:00–17:30. Weekly pay: $2,311–$2,418 per week. Employment type: Travel – Temporary Assignment in a hospital setting. This assignment requires active Washington license and ARRT (R) certification with BLS, and expects a minimum of 1 year IR/Angio experience. Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,311–$2,418 per week- Start date: 06/01/2026- Shift: 4x10 days (07:00–17:30)- Contract type: Travel – temporary assignment- Setting: Hospital-based Interventional Radiology department- Local travel restriction: Permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility is not eligibleResponsibilities- Perform interventional radiology procedures and assist IR physicians and vascular surgeons during angiography, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripheral interventions, venous access, and related interventions.- scrub and circulate as needed, maintaining sterile technique and patient safety throughout procedures.- operate and troubleshoot imaging systems in the IR suite and manage equipment turnover between cases; assist with catheter exchanges, embolization, stent/IVC filter placement, biopsies, thrombolysis/thrombectomy, and kyphoplasty as applicable.- document procedures and patient data in the electronic charting system; coordinate with the team for efficient patient flow and room turnover.- support outpatient IR workflows and contribute to a fast-paced environment that serves both IR and OR/ER settings as needed.- participate in scheduled call coverage (one weekday on-call shift and one weekend on-call per month).Requirements- Active Washington state license (required); pending licenses not accepted- BLS certification; ARRT (R) certification- Minimum 1 year IR/Angio experience; first-timers accepted- Ability to work in an outpatient-focused interventional radiology environment and to scrub/circulate as needed- Proficiency with sterile technique and familiar with EPIC or similar charting systems (EPIC preferred)Benefits and Support- Competitive weekly pay- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Fast credentialing- Nationwide assignments- Housing assistance- Extension opportunities- Referral bonus up to $1,000- Dedicated support throughout the assignmentFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore additional openings, please apply at Healthforce’s opportunities page: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
