OverviewInterventional Radiology Tech — Travel assignment in Kansas City, KS, United States. Start date 05/24/2026 for 13 weeks. 40 hours per week on a 4x10-hour shift (4 days per week; Monday–Friday with rotating day off). Weekly pay range: $2,730–$2,901. Work in a hospital-based IR department with a fast-paced, siloed setup and high patient volume. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,730–$2,901 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday with rotating day off; on-site, hospital-based IR department- Start date: 05/24/2026- Orientation and credentialing: orientation schedule and nursing orientation requirements per program- Travel assignment support: on-site IR responsibilities with Siemens imaging equipmentResponsibilities- Assist with interventional radiology procedures: prepare and position patients, set up sterile fields, scrub in as needed, operate imaging equipment, monitor patient status during procedures- Image acquisition and navigation: manage fluoroscopy and radiographic imaging on Siemens systems (Artis family) and document findings- Procedure support: maintain sterile technique, assist physicians and nursing staff, handle supplies and equipment for IR cases- Patient care and safety: monitor post-procedure recovery and communicate any concerns to the team- Collaboration: coordinate with IR team, nursing, and ancillary staff to maintain workflow and patient throughput- Documentation: accurately record procedure details, charges, and patient informationRequirements- Active ARRT Radiography license and Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (needed in hand for submittal)- Experience: at least 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience; scrub experience required; 3 years IR and large-hospital experience preferred, with peripheral and neurovascular experience considered a plus- Floating: may float to other IR locations within the system as needed- Legal ability to work in the United States; on-site hospital setting requirement- New graduates: not required or accepted per program notes- Orientation and credentialing readiness: must complete scheduled orientations and meet credentials deadlinesEducation- Education requirements to be reviewed in the job notes; specific degree details not listed in the provided inputBenefits and Support- Assignment-specific orientation and credentialing support to meet licensure requirements- Direct account management support for the duration of the assignment- On-site IR team collaboration in a high-volume, fast-paced environment- Clear start and credentialing timelines with documented expectations- Access to ongoing assignment-related communication and resources through Healthforce Healthcare LLCFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to view other openings, please apply and you can also explore additional opportunities at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMER RULEPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
