Job Description

OverviewMammography Tech – Mammography in San Luis Obispo, California. This is a travel, temporary assignment starting 04/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,476–$2,682 per week. Shift: Day shift, 8 hours per day (approximately 8:30 a.m. start). Setting: home healthcare - hospice.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,476–$2,682- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: Day shift, 8 hours per day- Start date: 04/13/2026- Setting: Home healthcare - hospice- Travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLCResponsibilities- Perform mammography imaging procedures following standard radiology protocols to produce diagnostic-quality images- Position patients, operate mammography equipment, and verify correct exposure and image quality- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and address comfort and safety considerations- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records, ensuring proper labeling of images- Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and privacy guidelines; report equipment issues promptlyRequirements- 2+ years of radiology experience with mammography- Current mammography license/certification- Ability to work a day shift, 8 hours per day, with an approximate 8:30 a.m. start time- Willingness to travel and work in a home healthcare - hospice setting- Legally eligible to work in California; assignment located in San Luis Obispo, CABenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated assignment support throughout the travel period- Competitive weekly pay and credentialing assistance- Assignment-specific onboarding and credentialing coordinationPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
