Job Description

OverviewMRI Tech – Radiology travel assignment in Portland, Oregon, United States. Start date 04/13/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,032–$2,138 per week. Shift: 3x12-hour days with weekend on-call coverage. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital. Travel - Temporary Assignment.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,032–$2,138 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 3x12-hour days with weekend on-call- Start date: 04/13/2026- Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital- Guaranteed hours: not guaranteedResponsibilities- Perform MRI exams across a range of clinical indications, ensuring high-quality imaging appropriate for interpretation.- Prepare patients, verify imaging orders, screen for contraindications, obtain consent when required, and position patients for optimal coil selection and image quality.- Monitor patients during scanning, manage comfort and safety, and apply appropriate safety protocols for all MRI procedures.- Select and modify imaging sequences, adjust parameters, and optimize workflows to meet exam turnaround times while maintaining diagnostic quality.- Document procedures accurately, maintain patient records, and collaborate with radiologists and other technologists to support accurate interpretation.- Adhere to credentialing, licensing requirements (ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT; OBMI MRI license in Oregon) and facility policies, including on-call responsibilities as scheduled.Requirements- Active ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) state license for MRI required- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience- Ability to work the described schedule, including weekend on-call- Education details not specified in the provided inputBenefits and Support- Assignment duration of 13 weeks with scheduled on-call requirements- Credentialing and onboarding support to facilitate start- Ongoing assignment support from a dedicated recruiter during the contractFind more opportunitiesFor additional openings and opportunities from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, please visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
