Job Description

OverviewNuclear Medicine Technologist – Nuclear Medicine Tech in Nashua, New Hampshire, United States. This travel, temporary assignment starts on 05/18/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 40 hours per week on days shift. Weekly pay ranges from $2,790 to $2,848. The role supports imaging services in a clinical imaging environment within a healthcare setting.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,790–$2,848 per week- Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: Days- Start date: 05/18/2026- Travel assignment in a clinical imaging environmentResponsibilities- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic scans, via oral, injection, or inhalation routes.- Explain imaging procedures to patients, address questions, and position patients for scanning to optimize image quality and patient comfort.- Operate imaging equipment, including SPECT/CT scanners, and perform quality checks per protocol.- Process and generate images of brain, thyroid, bone, heart, lungs, kidneys, and liver for interpretation.- Maintain detailed records of radiopharmaceutical usage, administered doses, and procedures performed.- Produce computer-generated images for interpretation by physicians and ensure safe handling of radiopharmaceuticals to minimize radiation exposure.Requirements- NH license and certification to practice nuclear medicine required- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS) certification required- 1 year of nuclear medicine experience preferred- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the above requirements- Ability to work in a clinical imaging environment and maintain strict safety protocolsBenefits and Support- Up to 16 hours of orientation (unpaid)- Guaranteed hours per week as noted- Assignment support through Healthforce Healthcare LLC- Dedicated support throughout the assignmentFind more opportunitiesIf this assignment isn’t a fit, consider exploring additional Nuclear Medicine Tech travel openings with Healthforce Healthcare LLC at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMER RULE:Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
