This role operates within a Critical Access Hospital setting and requires travel-aligned flexibility to cover imaging needs, including CT, general radiography, and fluoroscopy as needed.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,486–$2,735 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- Contract duration: 26 weeks- Shift: 3x12 days- Start date: 10/26/2026- Setting: Critical Access Hospital- Travel assignment managed with Healthforce Healthcare LLCResponsibilities- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images; perform accompanying imaging modalities such as general radiography and fluoroscopy as assigned.- Position patients, select appropriate exposure factors, optimize image quality, and minimize radiation exposure; review images for quality before radiologist interpretation.- Utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images securely; maintain accurate documentation and patient data in compliance with HIPAA.- Maintain imaging equipment, perform routine calibration and preventive maintenance, manage supply inventories and contrast materials; participate in equipment recalls or safety checks as needed.- Collaborate with radiologists and other care team members; assist with OR imaging, on-call coverage, and charting of procedures.- Provide venipuncture and IV access support for contrast administration when required; monitor patient status during imaging and respond to any adverse events.- Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and patient-identification protocols; contribute to a positive, patient-centered imaging workflow.Requirements- Active California Radiologic Technologist license (RT) with ARRT registration in RT(R) and CT; or ARRT RT(R) with CT credential; CA state licensure required.- Advanced CT certification preferred in California; required in some jurisdictions.- BLS certification from an approved provider; Fluoroscopy license in CA if operating fluoroscopy; Venipuncture certification.- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred).- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recent radiology experience; EPIC experience preferred; capable of performing X-ray, OR imaging, and call duties.- Operational requirements: Ability to work a travel assignment with rotating weekend/weekday schedules; ability to work in a hospital imaging environment and adhere to cross-functional duties.Benefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated assignment support- Guaranteed hours- Extension opportunitiesFind more opportunitiesFind more opportunities at Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMER RULEPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
