Job Description

OverviewRadiology Tech – CT Tech, Sonora, CA. Start date: 11/09/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,379–$2,468 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital travel - temporary assignment.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,379–$2,468 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 3x12 Nights- Start date: 11/09/2026- Travel assignment in a Short Term Acute Care HospitalResponsibilities- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images used to diagnose medical conditions.- Perform a range of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation; ensure high-quality images and accurate labeling.- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the appropriate location while maintaining patient confidentiality.- Maintain accurate records, files and billing information; monitor and ensure the integrity of patient data in compliance with HIPAA.- Conduct routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manage supply inventory.- Provide patient care that accommodates adolescents through geriatrics, prioritizing safety and comfort during imaging procedures.Requirements- Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology (Preferred)- Licenses/Certifications: California RT license (Required); ARRT RT (R)(CT)(ARRT) or RT (R)(ARRT) (Required); Advanced Certification in CT (Required); Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor (Required); Fluoroscopy license in California (Required if operating fluoroscopy); Venipuncture certification (Required if performing venipuncture for contrast administration)- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the radiology field- Other: Ability to work the night shift; willingness to participate in a travel assignment; commitment to patient privacy and safetyBenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated support throughout the assignment- Credentialing and onboarding assistance- Access to assignment resources and network supportPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
