Job Description

OverviewTravel Radiology Technologist – Diagnostic Radiologic Tech in Cumming, Georgia. Assignment starts 08/31/2026 and lasts 13 weeks with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Earn $1,860 to $1,932 per week on a 4-day, 10-hour shift (7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.). Work in a hospital-based diagnostic imaging department serving inpatient and outpatient exams, including fluoroscopy and operating room cases.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,860–$1,932 per week- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 4 days per week, 10 hours each (7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.)- Start date: 08/31/2026- Setting: hospital diagnostic radiology department with both inpatient and outpatient imagingResponsibilities- Perform a broad range of radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopy and C-arm imaging, in a high-volume 24-hour department- Position patients, select appropriate technical factors, and ensure high-quality images while applying ALARA principles- Operate radiology equipment and digital imaging systems; document procedures in the Cerner system- Support OR and fluoroscopic procedures and assist with interventional imaging as required- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff to coordinate patient care and imaging needs- Maintain room readiness, manage supplies, and adhere to safety, infection control, and quality standardsRequirements- ARRT certification (RT)- AHA BLS certification- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Diagnostic Radiology- Cerner experience- Ability to work in a 24-hour department with inpatient and outpatient exams, including OR and fluoroscopy- Holiday coverage: must work 2 major holidays and 1 minor holiday per scheduleBenefits and Support- Guaranteed hours- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated support throughout the assignment- 13-week travel assignmentFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore additional openings available through Healthforce, visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMER RULE:Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
