Job Description
OverviewRadiology Technologist – Diagnostic Radiologic Tech in Portland, Oregon. This travel assignment starts 11/02/2026 and runs for 13 weeks with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The shift is 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM on a 4x10-hour schedule in a short-term acute care hospital setting, with weekly pay in the range of $2,564 to $2,776.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,564–$2,776 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4x10-hour days)- Start date: 11/02/2026- Work setting: Short-term acute care hospital travel assignmentResponsibilities- Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body areas as ordered by physicians- Position patients and provide clear explanations of procedures; adjust exposure factors (voltage, current, exposure time) for each exam- Prepare examination rooms and equipment; maintain infection control and safety standards- Monitor patients during imaging, ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures- Produce high-quality diagnostic images and document exam information for interpretation- Verify exams in the PACS system and communicate important findings to the physician as appropriate- Maintain accurate records and assist with routine equipment quality checks and housekeeping tasks as neededRequirements- ARRT—Radiography (R) certification required- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License required in OR- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required- Minimum of two years of recent radiologic technology experience- Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)- Current nursing license per the state of assignment (per job notes)- Vaccination requirements in accordance with organizational policy; exemptions may apply- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting as a travel assignmentBenefits and Support- Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment- Credentialing and onboarding assistance to facilitate start- Ongoing assignment support and resources during the contract- Compliance guidance and access to relevant information (including vaccination policy and E-Verify details)Find more opportunitiesIf this role isn’t a perfect fit, you can explore other travel radiology openings with Healthforce Healthcare LLC at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply and apply to positions that align with your skills and goals.Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
