Job Description

OverviewInterventional Radiology Tech for a travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA. Start date 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,822 to $2,946 per week. Shift: Varied shifts with 10-hour days, totaling about 40 hours per week. Work setting: hospital radiology department with cardiovascular lab procedures. This position is a travel - temporary assignment.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,822–$2,946 per week- Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: Varied; 10-hour shifts (approximately 40 hours per week)- Start date: 09/14/2026- Work setting: hospital-based radiology department with interventional cardiovascular proceduresResponsibilities- Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular Radiographic examinations.- Conduct active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using a variety of sophisticated equipment.- Operate imaging equipment to produce digital images of designated body portions as ordered by physicians.- Properly position and instruct patients for examinations; perform specialized studies as needed.- Deliver clinical care efficiently with strong technical and organizational skills and sound critical thinking.- Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills; provide input into hiring and promotion decisions for staff.Requirements- Experience performing cardiac and vascular radiographic examinations and interventional procedures in a cardiovascular lab is preferred.- Ability to operate a range of radiographic and interventional imaging equipment and digital imaging systems.- Strong patient positioning, instruction, and procedural skills with attention to safety and quality.- Demonstrated critical thinking, clinical judgment, and effective communication within a fast-paced environment.- Willingness to mentor staff and contribute to ongoing professional development.Benefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated assignment support throughout the contract- Fast credentialing assistance- Housing assistance- Nationwide assignments and extension opportunities- Referral bonus up to $1,000Find more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore additional openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
