Job Description

OverviewInterventional Radiology Tech focusing on Cardiac and Vascular imaging is available for a travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA. Start date: 09/14/2026 for a 13-week engagement. Weekly pay ranges from 2,859 to 2,988, with no guaranteed hours. Shift is a 4x10 rotating schedule. Work will be in an acute care setting performing a mix of diagnostic and active interventional cardiovascular procedures, using a range of advanced imaging equipment. This assignment is a temporary travel role with Healthforce Healthcare LLC.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: 2,859–2,988 per week- Guaranteed hours: 0.0- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 4x10 rotating- Start date: 09/14/2026- Setting: acute care imaging environment supporting cardiac and vascular interventional proceduresResponsibilities- Perform, assist, and complete Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations, including active interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab.- Operate digital radiography and fluoroscopy equipment to produce high-quality images as ordered by physicians.- Position and instruct patients for examinations; prepare for specialized studies and monitor during procedures.- Maintain patient safety and comfort, apply sterile technique, and uphold radiation safety standards throughout imaging and interventions.- Provide clinical care with a high level of technical and organizational skill, using critical thinking to support effective workflow.- Model and mentor staff on technical skills; contribute input into hiring and promotion decisions as appropriate.Requirements- Demonstrated experience in cardiac and vascular radiography and interventional procedures.- Ability to operate interventional imaging equipment and produce diagnostic-quality digital images.- Strong patient positioning, instruction, and interpersonal communication skills.- Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced cardiovascular imaging lab and collaborate with physicians and team members.- Willingness to participate in teaching, mentorship, and ongoing professional development.- Compliance with site credentialing and licensure requirements as applicable to a radiologic professional in the region.Benefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated assignment support throughout the engagement- Access to nationwide travel opportunities- Credentialing assistance to support timely credentialing processesFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore additional openings, please visit Hiring Organization URL: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
